This course is rewarding because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed.
The course entails self-rescue, recognising and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, and rescuing panicked and unresponsive divers. It lasts at least two full days of swimming pool training and ocean scenarios.

Minimum age – Junior 12 years and Standard 15 years
Prerequisites – Adventure Diver certification and EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months.
